Check these two gorgeous releases out

JOE HIGGS - LIFE OF CONTRADICTIONS
Billed as "one of the most seminal reggae records of all time" and it's hard to argue the point. Fantastic songwriting, truly walking it's own path. Fantastic playing, with Earl Wire Lindo, Mikey Chung, Val Douglas and of course Joe Higgs himself. Originally licensed to Chris Blackwell, then released in 1975 by Joe Higgs and now brought to you by my new favourite label Pressure Sounds.

JIMMY RADWAY - DUB I
Again, brought to you by Pressure Sounds... "one of the hardest dub albums ever released"
Errol Thompson's mixing is sublime. Real heavyweight dub sounds and killer tunes. Pressure Sounds have unearthed a real gem here. Only 300 copies were pressed on it's origin release. As with the Joe Higgs album you can hear a couple of tracks on the Pressure Sounds site. Link below.

If these two albums are anything to go by Pressure Sounds really are a label to be reckoned with. I, for one, will be checking out their entire catalogue, which includes classic reissues from; King Tubby, Tommy McCook, Keith Hudson, The Revolutionaries, Sly and Robbie, The Wailing Souls and loads more.
For more info on all this go to Pressure Sounds website
